I could not be happier right now. Just had my last exam of the year and can spend the summer relaxing with Rio. Oh wait I have work :'( and a dissertation to start. Oh well nice while the feeling lasted.
Rio is feeling a bit tired. Just dragged him out for a nice long walk. Soon as we got in his head was down and he was asleep. Yeah try sitting 4 exams Rio.....
Well here's to a long summer of sun. I hope :)

What a week!
Aston:
I cannot wait for tomorrow lunchtime. Last exam tomorrow morning(Forensic Science). Basically it's going to be about a lot of chemicals and instruments used for measuring chemicals and possibly some weird compounds. Happy days. Still Alton Towers on Thursday and Friday not a bad finish to the week to celebrate the end of exams.Rio:
Rio's going to get very spoilt over the next couple of days too because he's going to stay with my nan. Doubt he'll want to come back home.xXx

17th May 2012
Aston's Day:
Feel like absolute crap today. It is impossible revising when you have such a bad headache. On the upside this is what I learn today:
There are 3 phases to cellular respiration, Glycolysis, The citric cycle(krebs cycle) and the electron transport train. Glycolysis which occurs in the matrix of a mitochondria turns glucose into 2 pyruvates. 2 ATP and 2 NADH2 are produced. These then go into the krebs cycle. Which uses the 2 ATP and makes 4. So we are a net gain of 2. Double this for the 2 pyruvates and you get 4 ATP.
All I know is I better have a question on cellular respiration or I am doomed.
Rio's Day:
Rio woke up and decided I wasn't allowed a lie in today so kindly sprung around on my face until I got up and took him out. Then did a bit of sleeping and chewing on his massive bone which we bought him. Took him out for a lovely long walk today. Of course it started raining as soon as we left the flat but he was going out regardless. We got home and Rio thought it would be funny if he could dig out some lucozade energy tablets. Luckily I think he only managed to eat half of one before I found him out. We then both crashed out for a couple of hours.
Really hoping this exam goes well tomorrow.
Wish me luck

Let's Get This Thing Started.
So I figured I should start posting in this thing.
Aston's Day:
Well today was stressful. First of my four exams (Crime Scene). By far the easiest of the subjects I am taking this year but still very stressful. I guess I would have felt more confident if I had done more revision on the subject instead of just looking up case studies, which i'm glad I did because they really came in handy for the essay question. That may have saved me. I won't bore you with the rest of today as it has been mainly for revision for Biochemistry on Friday, *sigh* the hardest and least favourite of my subjects.Rio's Day:
Well I can't really tell you what Rio got up to this morning. I think the boyfriend took him on a lovely long walk where he played with a lovely boxer puppy. He's so much more well behaved with the boyfriend then when I take him out. I guess he's just being very protective. Whatever Jon has done to him works because Rio has been crashed out asleep all day. I've been able to revise in peace!
Well that is all for today. I will let you all know how Friday turns out (if I survive the dreaded test that is).
