Been a while.... Again
It appears I have been neglecting my blog duties. (Honestly I completely forgot about it).
I shall start with some bad news and hopefully work up to something cheerful. Our cat Hera died on Monday after being hit by a car. She was only 6 months old bless her and she will be sorely missed especially by her best friend Isis. Those 2 were inseparable when they were home together. RIP Hera-puss.
Hera and Rio last week
Well we have been in out house in Cornwall for just over a year now. It's fab though I have failed to find a job this year. I have been turned down by Asda 3 times and all the other supermarkets are the same. I've tried all of the shops in Falmouth/Penryn and Truro, tried the carer place. (I even tried McDonalds and guess what, they didn't want me either).
I have however started volunteering at the local rescue K9 Crusaders. It is fab! I love working with all the dogs and the cleaning. I LOVE THE CLEANING. One day little Elmo will be coming home with me.
Isis and Rio have been doing absolutely great. Isis is enjoying her flyball and agility. One day you will be cheering us on at crufts you wait ;)
Well I am off. Those jobs will not find me it is I that must go find them. Ciao xXx

News
Somehow I have left it way to long before posting on this again and quite a fair bit has happened.
I failed my final year of university for starters. I could go back and redo the units I failed for a year but I really didn't think I could stick it out another year so I left. While living down in Cornwall in a nice new house I made a little addition to my fur family.....
This is Isis the Shetland Sheepdog. She's currently just over 16 weeks old. I'm quite looking forward to taking on some agility with her. The best thing is that her and Rio get on like a house on fire which is the thing I was most worried about. We're heading back to Dorset this evening so that Isis can meet the rest of her family. The hunt for a job is still on, there really are no jobs down here in Cornwall but all I can do is apply for whatever comes up. Well again I must dash. Despite having been in the house a couple of weeks I am still trying to sort everything out.

WE ARE IN CORNWALL
Well me and my little Rio Chi and Sonic have moved to Cornwall. I have finished my 3 years at uni and now am on the prowl for a part time job while I await results... Eek! Well now that I don't have university to worry about I can finally start posting on this thing again.
Couple of exciting things happening in the next month. First off we bought a house so will hopefully be moving in within the next 4-5 weeks, YAY! I have also been in contact with a Shetland Sheepdog breeder and could be the lucky owner of a new puppy towards the end of July, BIG YAY! And finally we are on the search for a girlfriend for Sonic (though not really a girlfriend because they kill each other) :(
So yay exciting next couple of months. The camera is obviously back up and running and will try and get it set up in the new house as soon as I can so you can all see my new puppy (if i'm lucky enough to be selected).
Well I must shoot off and find something to start off my Cornwall adventure. Job-seeking seems like a good option......

Rio Everyday For A Year
So I decided I would take a photo of Rio everyday for a year so we can see how he changes. Enjoy :)

It's Been A While
Been a long time since I've posted on here. I've been super busy and my camera broke so I havn't been able to do Rio's daily photo :( He's gotten so much more fluffy since the last photo, it's a little bit annoying I can't show it. I got a new camera for Christmas though so I can still show him getting even fluffier.
Also i'm going to try and get the Rio live feed set up again. We moved into our new flat in November and we have a much faster internet connection so hopefully it will work better. :)
I'll do a proper post a bit later. Rio and I have much to share with what we have been doing the last couple of months.

Naughty Boy
Aston's Day:
Well today was resit day for my Toxicology exam. I really can't comment on how I thought it went, we'll just have to wait and see. Not only that but Rio scared the life out of my grandparents today and to make matters even worse I think I may have accidently driven through a red light on the way home.
Rio's Day:
Well what can I say about Rio's day. My nan picked him up as she sometimes does and took him over to her garden like she always does. After a while she wonders where Rio is . Rio at this moment is dancing with cars on the fast road on the other side of the field next to the garden. He has never ever gone this far from the garden before. Luckily a car stopped before flattening Rio and a little boy jumped out and tried to pick up Rio. By this time my Grandad was running across the field calling for Rio to get back here and jumping over the fence trying to catch the little bugger before the boy got hold of him. Luckily he ran back into the field after my nan threw a stone into it and he was scooped up and put on his lead tied to the table. It's so sad as now I won't be able to let him off because we can't trust him to not do it again. I don't know how many times i've said you should never chase them because they think it's a game just run in the opposite direction and they'll usually chase you. A close call and I have had words and he knows how angry we all are at him. Hopefully he's learnt his lesson and will never do it again.
